Winks

I must admit I have only recently come across winks or winxs being used for smileys – those lovable little yellow characters that smile at you from email and other communications. It’s something that has just crept up on me just like the guy on the left here.

It’s easy to understand how the term winks originated. The early smileys characters often had a winking eye to show some emotion and with a smile on thier face they were hard to ignore. Winks have come a long way since then. If you are still using the old character based winks, then youy need to get out of the dark ages and start using the 3D and animated versions of winks or winxs.

There are now thousands of them and they are truly remarkable. they no longer have just yellow faces. You can have them in all colors, animated and with sound. There are every type imaginable. Well, there would be with over 10,000 to choose from. There are large winks, small winks, male winks, female winks and now the greatest animals on the planet have made it into winxs as well. Lions, tigers, cats, dog, crabs, bears – you name it they’re all there in the winks family.
